  1. Coming from Czechia I find it odd that it was not nationalized and handed over to state hands for all Germans to enjoy.

  2. Is this where the expression “von und zu” comes from? Because 33 generations in one place, if anything, qualifies as your stuff owning you. Amazing that the line hasn’t been pulled apart in all that time.

    Was there a period when 5yo girl owned the castle and was giving orders?
